Thomas Bros is a family orchard nestled in the Dehra Doon Valley, Riwaka, Tasman — one of New Zealand’s premier fruit growing regions. We’re proud of the quality fruit we grow and the team culture we’ve built over the years.
The Role
- Picking and handling apples to a high quality standard
- Working carefully to ensure fruit is handled with care at all times
- Working as part of a friendly, hardworking team
- Following orchard health and safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work hard
- Reliability — we need people who show up!
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous orchard or picking experience is a bonus, but not essential — we’ll train the right people

Hours
Our normal hours are weather dependent but generally 7.30 am to 4.30 pm Mon – Fri with some Saturday work. Longer hours may sometmes be required during the peak.
