7:30am – 5:00pm (may vary during peak season) Monday to Saturday
Location
Apple Packhouse (394 Main Rd, Riwaka) – approx. mid February to approx. end of May.
Kiwifruit Packhouse (197 Dehra Doon Rd, Riwaka) – approx. early March to approx. end of May.
About the role
We are looking for team members to join our packhouse during the busy season.
This role is focused on preparing fruit to meet both local and export quality standards.
What you’ll be doing
- Grading fruit to meet quality standards
- Packing fruit to customer specifications
- Stacking cartons safely and efficiently
- Palletising product for transport
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas
- Supporting general packhouse operations as required
- You may be asked to assist in other areas depending on seasonal priorities
What we’re looking for
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to follow instructions and processes
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and manual handling
- Health & Safety – All work must be carried out safely and following company procedures at all times.
